Women colleges and their thriving, bustling spaces are an often missed characteristic of the city. Established in 1924, Indraprastha College, was the first of many to dot the educational landscape of the city. These colleges and their women students have made contributions from political discussions to social life in the city. The gallery carries rare photographs of women in informal moments, both inside the class, in the open or during exciting moments in college life. This gallery captures the ordinary and the extra-ordinariness of women's college spaces in the twentieth-century.
